The Shopping Carts page displays jukeboxes that have music waiting to be ordered. To check out at any time you have completed music orders, click on Checkout xx items (xx indicates the number of items in your shopping cart) at the top right corner of the page. The system will display the Shopping Carts page.

The main filter for the page is the drop-down option for Shopping Carts for. You can display all jukeboxes, a group of jukeboxes, or an individual jukebox.

Note: A jukebox group is a way to organize your jukeboxes (commonly by route, by location type/genre, etc.). For more information on creating and maintaining groups, open the Groups tab and click Help.

The display table contains six fields of information.

Column NameDescription
-or- The icon indicates that you can process this order using dial-up or USB download. The USB icon indicates that this order can only be processed through a USB download. You can hover over the USB icon to get the explanation for the USB download requirement. When you select Checkout for a dial-up jukebox, you must select a delivery method from a drop-down menu of options.

You can download a maximum of 10 albums at a time through dial-up connection. To download more than 10 albums, select one of the USB download options to create a music update file. See below for delivery method options.

JukeboxThis is the jukebox that has music waiting to be ordered.
TotalThis is the total number of albums currently assigned to the jukebox.
AddingThis is the number of albums in the order to add to the jukebox. When the cart is expanded, the list of items is displayed. Hover over an item with your mouse pointer to see the user name of the person who ordered the music and when the item was placed in the cart.
DeletingThis is the number of albums in the order to delete from the jukebox. When the cart is expanded, the list of items is displayed. Hover over an item with your mouse pointer to see the user name of the person who ordered the music and when the item was placed in the cart.
New Total / MaxThis column displays the number of albums that will be on the jukebox once the ordered albums have been added or deleted, and the maximum number of albums allowed. Typically, the maximum is 300, but it is defined per contract.

Check Out

To check out, select one or more Jukeboxes and click Checkout.

Note: If you have additional music in your cart and click Logout, the following confirmation message is displayed: "You have music in your cart that needs to be ordered. Continue to log out without ordering this music?" Click OK to continue.

Delivery Options

When you select Checkout for a dial-up jukebox, you must select a delivery method from a drop-down menu of options. The options are:

  • 1 GB USB download file
  • 512 MB USB download file
  • 256 MB USB download file
  • 128 MB USB download file
  • 64 MB USB download file
  • Dialup download

You can download a maximum of 10 albums at a time through dialup connection. Choose one of the USB download options if you want to hand carry the music order to your jukebox and install it manually.

If your music order is larger than the USB download size you select, the music order will be split into multiple music update files.

You will receive an e-mail notice containing links to all files required for your music order once the music update files have been created.

Note: Dialup downloads are only permitted if your music order has not exceeded the 10 album maximum and the jukebox is not using an "800" number for its dial-up connection. The icon next to the jukebox will indicate if USB download if the only download option for your music order. To get an explanation for the restriction, hover over the USB icon.

Empty Cart

To empty a cart, select the jukebox and click Empty Cart.
