To see the Media Player Details page for a specific Media Player, you must click on the Media Player name in the listing on the Media Player tab.
The Media Player Details page displays details about the specific Media Player and allows the modification of the name, description, or changing the location.
The top portion of the page contains the fields Name and Description.
Name
displays the name of the Media Player and can be modified.Description
displays a description of the Media Player and can be modified.The
Save
button will save any changes made to the Name or Description.The
Cancel
button will discard any changes and return to the previous screen.The remaining portions of the page are divided into two sections: Device Info and Current Location
Device Info
Device Info displays information about the Media Player related to status and configuration.
The fields below are only displayed when there is relavant information available.
| Model: | The model type of this Media Player. |
| MAC Address: | The hardware network address specifically tied to the machine network hardware. |
| Serial Number: | The serial number of this Media Player. |
| Bios: | The current bios version of this Media Player. |
| Software Version: | The software version running on this Media Player. |
| Software Update Start Time: | The time at which the software update started. |
| Software Update Status: | The current status of the software update. |
| Status: | The current operational status of this Media Player. |
| Status Message: | A more descriptive status message for the current operational status of this Media Player. |
| Uptime: | The amount of time the Media Player has been running. |
| Active Channel: | The current channel active on the Media Player. |
| Connection: | The type of physical network connection used by the Media Player. Typically, this value will be either Wired or Wireless. |
| DNS: | The current domain name server settings for this Media Player. |
Current Location
Current Location displays information about the location where the Media Player is assigned.
| Location: | This drop-down menu displays the current location nickname where the Media Player is assigned.
The Media Player can be re-assigned to another location by changing the value of the drop-down menu.
The new location assignment will be saved immediately upon changing the value of the drop-down menu.
The
Edit button will navigate to the Location Details page for editing information about the location. |
| Name: | The name of the location where the Media Player is assigned. |
| Address: | The address of the location where the Media Player is assigned. |
| Proprietor: | The owner of the location where the Media Player is assigned. |
| Email: | The email address for the proprietor of the location where the Media Player is assigned. |
| Phone: | The telephone number for the proprietor of the location where the Media Player is assigned. |
